Happy Birthday Mom and Dad!

The past week both of my parents aged one more year. Mom even had a well organized surprise party planned by Dad with a lot of help from Dawn. The party had a ton of people and some really good food. Yum

This Bo. He joined the Mike and Dawn Schavey family just last weekend. We visited those guys and was finally able to meet this sweet St. Bernard. He’s just a little bit older than two and is very well mannered. He’s a bit skittish but loves all the petting he can get his head under. You can see more photos in this Flickr slideshow.

Happy Birthday, Joey

The family celebrated Joey’s 3rd birthday party. The day was very humid but that didn’t stop all the kids from running around like little maniacs. There was just so much excite around that even one of the dogs was a ball-fetching machine. Check out the photo set…When it was time to wish Joey happy birthday, Dawn brought out two…yes…two enormous cakes. The first was in the shape of a pirate ship with 2 masts, sails and even oars. Very creative.The second was a chocolate treasure chest. This bad boy we pure sugar. The sugar buzz these kids were about to have was gonna send them through the roof.After all of us sang the Birthday song, Mike and Dawn served up the yummy cake and, my favorite, ice cream cups. Hmmm….we all enjoyed the treats…some more that others.Time to open presents! Dude, this kid was all about Spiderman. Check this out, Tim and Deb gave one the coolest gifts, Spiderman/Wolverine Action Figure Walkie-Talkies. They were sweet!.
