The Future of Electronic Medical Record Management
Microsoft Health CUI Patient Journey Demonstrator Launch Page. has been recently updated. The thing to keep in mind when launching and playing around with the demonstrator is: this is simply a freekin’ web page. Oh, and that Microsoft has spent $40 million on making User Interface controls comply with health safety guidelines and – they have made the entire thing *open source / free*.
Eventually, you, at home, will be able to securely login to your records and update/review aspects of it….all from from a simple web page.

Obama gettin’ ‘er done.
Dude, this guy has seemingly done more in 8 days than in Bush’s whole first term. I really like his “Get gov’t to frickin’ work.” attitude. He just needs to get some of congrssoonal del to think that way.

Quicken® Online: 100% Free Online Banking & Personal Finance Software
Quicken® Online: 100% Free Online Banking & Personal Finance Software. Dude, this is an awesome utility that Kristen and I have been using for about 2 months now.
Highlights:
- Free, Free, Free
- Reads account info from credit union and credit card
- Really smart auto-categorization. What used to take hours with other software, this allowed me to quickly see spending trends 5 minutes after signing up.
- Smart Summary Homepage. It shows you what your *Real* balance is until your next paycheck. i.e. Current Balance minus upcoming bills.
We find the software really intuitive and give the Quicken engineers mad-props for creating such an easy-to-use Web 2.0 personal finance web application.

Blockbuster working on Live Mesh app | Beyond Binary – CNET News
Blockbuster working on Live Mesh app | Beyond Binary – CNET News. I have been reading a lot about Live Mesh and Microsofts recently announced cloud computing platform, Azure. There is tons of potential in their approach. The technology is currently in beta-beta-beta but what I have worked with so far is very slick. I even had my mom install the Mac LiveMesh client to synchronize a shared folder I created in my private Mesh. The only problems we had were related more so to her internet connection speed and not with the LiveMesh software. Oh yeah, did I mention that we are both Mac users and the software from Mico$oft work just fine. Impressive.

30 Day Calorie Diet
Yeah, that really sucked. Trying to pull this off over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday period was insane. Although I did not reach my target weight loss for the time period, I didn’t really gain any. Bonus.
